:: Today, a special day. ::

Sim: Today is a special day.

Us: Huh? Your birthday? Anniversary?

Sim: Nope. It's 12th February 2007 and this day will only happen once in your lifetime.

This is what my Maths lecturer said when I was in J2. I clearly remembered and totally agreed with it.

So theoretically speaking, today is as special as any other day...

But interestingly, people can be molded by culture to make better sense of certain dates on the calendar.

Commercialization.

Businesses are booming because of this culture which deem one day more important than the other~ now, anything with a red weird-shaped object plastered on it will double it's original selling price and 10-fold it's cost price.

It doesn't make sense...

At least not to me.

If love has to be displayed on this commercialized day when the whole wide world is doing it... what's so special about it?

If the capacity of love is to be measured by the number of roses he can afford on the so called 'special day'... that's pathetic.

Half the time this guys are using their parents' money, so there aren't any sincerity so to speak. It's mere luck that he's born rich.

If they are independent enuff to earn their own bucks... please don't waste it on flowers that cost twice as much as usual...

"A wise lover values not so much
the gift of the lover
as the love of the giver."

Okie, businesses gotta cash in, I understand- marketing, promotion- seize the opportunity now or you'll loss to competitor. contribute to our booming economy then the stock prices will continue to peak...

Alright~ cash in... go on... *jing*jing*

Turn Right . Turn Left

A bittersweet love story.

It's a torture to see love missed in such close proximity
yet that makes the reunion all the more sweet and precious.
