Hectic Weekdays; Busy Weekends

The hotel engagement was tough in terms of hours but I kinda like the job for its business, location, the client and not forgetting the free lunch and dinners too! Hee!

Was super down on some days and random people and/or things made my day~ like meeting Ah Ru at yishun MRT station coincidentally, meeting Dora Twin for yummilious Tom Yam at Orchard~ at the same time giving up the Engagement Lunch at the Restaurant in the Five Star Hotel~ haha! cos it’s the company that matters to me! =)

Oh! Despite the late nights at work, I still manage to drag myself out of bed to go for shg sessions on both Saturdays. And I’m sure glad I did! Last week session was more for self realization. To know ourselves better so to understand how we perceive others. According to Wayne, I have the qualities to be an auditor- namely: curiosity, order, honor, idealism. Yes, I fit the bill! But, I’m not sure if I want to carry on. I was telling Han Dong that I’m someone who wants a simple life. Haha! Earning just enough to feed my family and holiday once in a while will be good enough. And most imptly, to enjoy what i'm doing! =)

YAR

We had our year start outing yesterday. Something we promised our kids one year ago… it finally materialized with just one week of planning. The idea was initiated during discussion last sat and I did a preliminary planning. Thereafter, everyone else took their roles and the outing went on smoothly. =)

The Chicken-Chicks-Eagle Game

- BBQ-ing in the park-

----------------------------------------------

It was 11pm when I send David and Jing Chuan home on bicycle (in my mini skirt). *erps! I was screaming half the time cos I’m not use to weaving through the crowd on a bike. In the end, Jing Chuan took the front to open a route for me while David took the back to prevent me from falling and disappearing without them knowing! Haha! I know! I’m a lousy mentor! They could have reached home earlier without me! Erps! Whatever it is, I manage to send them home safely by cycling from Blk 900++ to 100++ k! hee! *proud!*

Thereafter, I cycled back to join the others. Speeding on the bike at 11pm with cool breeze brushing across my face reminds me of someone…

Special thanks to Wen Bin & Yong Yuan for planning the Amazing Race, Jin Yong for the Food and Han Dong for BBQ-ing for us and also Wayne for coordinating!
