::Kid's World 2006 & Christmas Service::

::221206::
Friday was totally great.

Went mango warehouse sales with jie at raffles place area. To our disappointment, most of the stocks were from Victoria secrets and GAP instead of mango. Not that we are not into the other 2 brands, its just that... GAP was selling mostly kid's wear and Victoria secrets lingerie are quite over-sized~ i think they discriminate people who do not have assets loh!! *argh... anyway, we bought some stuff from mango & had coffee at 'coffee and toast' where the customer service totally sucks~

Traveled to ntu to join Wappo and amazingly I reach at 1.30pm (1.5 hour late) and they are still at SBS... that's how long admin stuff can take~ *haa... I gave the kids the name-tag I made over night and I think they like it~ *grinz~ did quite abit of running as we had our 'amazing race' in campus~ *tired

------------
went bugis with emileo to catch the performance by weilin and friends. We dine along one of the streets in bugis area & walked all the way to waterloo. The event was held in a small theatre behind the Singapore Art Museum. Guess what? I've been to the exact same place with yz one year ago!! That's for my best friend's friend (T) x'mas musical concert. Memories flow~ and they are 'not too good' memories actually~ *haa

emileo & I did a lot of walking in city area even thg we were already tired cos of round campus~ we walked from bugis to city hall to waterloo to city hall to raffles place mrt. *diao... yeapz~ took pictures with/of Christmas trees and the night scenery lo~ nice nice!!

it's another wonderful day. Had breakfast at home and joined Wappo at Boon Lay mrt where we made our way to Singapore Discovery Centre together.

it's my first visit to SDS as an adult. Guess I've been there as a student years back but I don't have the desire to learn and sense to appreciate things there then. We had a tour guide to bring us through the Safti and the discovery centre.

Learn more about the place officers had their training. With the red bricks and beautiful roof, it's obvious that the place is designed by an Australian architect . saw the SAFTI Tower, the one structure i always see when I walk from Hall 8 to South Spine. to me, it was indeed an enriching experience.

The discovery centre encompass of 3 main Pavilion namely, security, unity and enterprise. I would say this place is more for adults or secondary school students than for primary school kids as they hardly can appreciate the existence of certain games and message hidden within. But they no doubt enjoyed themselves with those interactive buttons to push and enticing lightings and robots to talk to.

i wonder if there is something wrong with me~ you see, our tour guide ask the kids...

Q1. How many races are there in Singapore and what are they.
i was thinking about horse race and stuff like that~ but the correct one is obviously chinese/ malay/ indian & eurasian.

Q2.
What are the 3 forces of Singapore?
damn... i was thinking about push and pull and struggles to think of the 3rd one. and the correct answer is as simple as army/ air/ navy.

is there something wrong with me? i tend to make simple things complicated~ *duh...
----------

left the camp and took bus to boon lay as I promise to meet tim & hui jun for their church service at Kallang theater. I'm really lucky to catch the bus & train so as to reach there just in time. After which the clique when clark quey to chill out.

I was reading the cards from the kids on the train and I started to cry. They are so innocent and pure~ cute & adorable.
Their every laughter brings endless joy to me.
i miss them!!
