Was listening to the bbc on my way home and it hit me hard that at least 82 died because of this natural phenomenon.

People here are crying just as they felt the slightest tremor.

Can you imagine what people in Sumatra are feeling?

I wonder whether this incident will have the same impact/influence as the death of Xu wei Lun or even Nicole Smith.

It's still human lives isn't it?

or perhaps people will just be hyped up about experiencing a real tremor- topic of the week in office/ campus/ market...
